Re: Positive reviews Amsterdam SimMarket
FSX is dying and VAS inefficient platform. EHAM trully shines at P3D with all bells and whistles. Nope...some are experiencing the same problems in P3D. And if it's made for FSX and P3D, it has to work in both. I'm confident that FlyTampa will solve this. I love all their sceneries and they are all...

Re: Positive reviews Amsterdam SimMarket
Although working with a moderate CPU can fly amsterdam without issues regarding VAS, I must admit I don't use FSX or Steam , but also with P3D there were in the beginning some issues that were fixed with testing with and without mentioned VAS consuming add-ons in several topics here. the best way t...

Re: Memory error
Turning off Orbx products just for one airport is not an option for me since every other airport works perfectly fine without OOMs often with lots of VAS to spare (Even Frankfurt V2 with Traffic and Prealsoft HD Frankfurt on top of Vector & OpenLC Europe). I've uninstalled AMS due to constant OO...

Re: Amsterdam Texture Packs
Maybe not the answer you want but I do think P3D manages VAS better than FSX. And? I've never had an OOM with FSX and I use dozens of payware aircraft and sceneries, REX, ASN etc... If it's made for FSX and P3D it should work on both platforms, doesn't matter if P3D handles VAS better. I also have ...

Re: VAS
Folks, Merry Christmas. Did a full clean uninstall and reinstall of P3D, reinstalled, Admin the works, removed FSUIPC, SODE, complete re-work. Tested Aerosoft A320, immersion, ASCA,EVNTEX,AS16, did some go arounds with the LITEX pack and zero issues. I will continue testing and report. From now on,...

Re: Amsterdam Texture Packs
Sorry to say Emilios but I don't have different VAS reading with the LITETEX in FSX compared to the normal textures like I said on page one of this topic. I'm seeing more people on the forums are now reporting the same issue so I hope that there is some kind of fix possible. Maikel I hope so, too. ...

Re: Amsterdam Texture Packs
I installed the Low-Res Texture pack and my VAS is still at 3.3GB when loading up the PMDG 737-800 on the runway

Re: Huge VAS issue
@emilios[flytampa]
I create FSX videos for my youtube channel every week with the highest settings possible, so I don't think my FSX installation is bad
I don't get OOMs at any other airport

Re: Huge VAS issue
I can confirm the high VAS problem. I did 2 full flights in FSX and had OOM errors both times. Airplanes: PMDG 777-200 and PMDG 737-800. Then I loaded up a saved flight near the airport and couldn't even finish that one without FSX crashing. No Autogen, Scenery Detail Distance: Low and Scenery Detai...
