I'm guessing no Project AI, probably a good mix of the others.harpsi wrote:Hi
Just one question for Martin. What are the AI aircrafts you are using on this scenery? Ai aardvark? Evolve AI? Project AI? FSP? Others?

Hey guys, I must say that this is truly some amazing work. I have KBOS and KSEA and will probably be getting this one as AC flies there. but just one question for you.
For all of those requesting US airports, I understand that it is the majority of wanted ones but what about Canadians we have great airports as well. I mean look at the INCREDEBLE face-lift at Toronto Pearson (CYYZ) or the complexity of Calgary Int'l (CYYC) If I saw CYYZ come out I would pay $50+ for it even if that isn't the price.
Thanx for all your great work and keep it up I will look forward to this release and others.

Hi,B777ER wrote:Speaking of the mountains around LOWW...is there any freeware mesh that will give the whole area a better look to it? Would like to install that before flying into FT-Vienna. Thanks.
yes it is. Some days ago Holger Sandmann released one by avsim.

I agree!Subjective as you said, imo when you got a control tower such as this beauty it's far from dull. The terminal I don't find dull either compared to many other box-building-sets, neither do I find't the 16 approach over the Donau or the 11 approach through refinery exhaust stacks boring.
You all should know by now FlyTampa's sceneries/locations are often surprising choices, Dubai even Midway or San Diego come to mind. The surprises are however not always meant for the same people and if they were prediactable they wouldn't be surprises. The best guess is always to think what you *don't* expect me to release
I think you have just given me reason enough for doing it

Did not know about all the above things you mentioned. I guess I had hoped for something in Asia or Pacific region. Your screenshots looks absolutely stunning! I really mean that, so my comments should not reflect a diferent opinion than just that, YOU ROCK!!
George I totally agree with you on the AI issue!!
Boaz...

A fact....uhhhh...no, subjective opinion...definately. There are others in the same league. Look around a bit.FSQA wrote:Some things worth mentioning:

no, this is objective, sorry, a matter of fact. if you compare Flytampa with OSS or other scenery design teams you will see, this is rather an objective statement.
Vauchez is just as good as FlyTampa, I think Portland will blow everything away.FSQA wrote:A fact....uhhhh...no, subjective opinion...definately. There are others in the same league. Look around a bit.FSQA wrote:Some things worth mentioning:

Do you know the difference between subjective and objective? Let me help you:FSQA wrote:A fact....uhhhh...no, subjective opinion...definately. There are others in the same league. Look around a bit.FSQA wrote:Some things worth mentioning:

no, this is objective, sorry, a matter of fact. if you compare Flytampa with OSS or other scenery design teams you will see, this is rather an objective statement.
Objective-
1. Uninfluenced by emotions or personal prejudices: an objective critic.
2. Based on observable phenomena; presented factually: an objective appraisal.
Subjective-
1. Proceeding from or taking place in a person's mind rather than the external world: a subjective decision.
2. Particular to a given person; personal: subjective experience.
Moodily introspective.
3. Existing only in the mind; illusory.
Now compare FlyTampa to Flightscenery. Enough said. You need to get out on the web more.

hi,
i according fully with FSQA that flytampa is state of the art for big airports. i wrote this already. it is true, that there are desingers for small airports on the same level as flytampa. i think to VFRFrance maybe rennes and other more.
ok. i neither had seen portland nor heard of this scenery. maybe someone can give me a link for screenshots. if someone means this would be subjective may name a scenery of a big airport on the same level as flytampa.
simflyers? oh noooo! simwings? nice sceneries but another league. nearest come i thnik german airports series from hiermeier&co. for me since many years state of the art in scenery designing and best designer in europe. until flytampa were coming
.
last they published was mega scenery frankfurt/main. a very good scenery, maybe a very very good scenery. very detailed, very accurate, a must have for everybody flying in europe. where is the difference to flytampa? the airport does not look as used one. it looks too clean, so if it was opened one day before. it don´t put over the feeling of used taxiways and stands e.g. the oil and dirt is not integrtated in the rest of asphalt structure. there are lot of other little things what makes flytampa airports so extraordinary good. the feeling and the ambience, that´s it. i have two eyes and therefore i think maybe very subjective flytampa is a league for its own.
best regards

Yes, Vauchez from FlightScenery make some of the best scenery around, FlyTampa quality except he does the whole city and surrounding airports as well in his packages!paavo wrote:Vauchez is just as good as FlyTampa, I think Portland will blow everything away.FSQA wrote:A fact....uhhhh...no, subjective opinion...definately. There KPVD is just as good as FlyTampas stuff. Portland is not done, but there are a couple videos and screenshots in the forum at this link.

Flightscenery's Rhode Island speaks for itself, and the screenshots of Portland are looking fantastic. Simflyers hasn't had a whole lot going on lately but their new Boeing Field looks to be FT quality also. Finally the shots from OSS's upcoming releases look very promising as well. There are other things out there, you just have to look for them. Scenery designers change their techniques all the time so old past projects aren't always a great guage. But if you want to continue to live in happyland and think that there aren't designers just as talented as Martin and George then please, go ahead. The only person you're cheating is yourself.dieterle wrote:hi,
