I'm seeing the same thing around the strip. I disabled Global Mesh for North America and its still there. I'm going to keep digging to see if I can find something.

update: I uninstalled Vector, OpenLC and Black Marble and nothing has changed.

https://youtu.be/XVqNCsbwrw0 uploaded a quick vid. Seems as tho it goes to the edge of the scenery.

hornetville wrote: Thu Apr 25, 2019 3:33 pm Seems for me I still have an ORBX issue nothing as bad as it was removing all KLAS BGL's from the SCA05 scenery folder made no difference so see if ORBX can solve it.
I m not seeing this with FTX-Global+SoCal, anything else you got installed?
I have, Global Base, Global Open LC North America and South America, Global Vector, Central Rockies, Nothern California and Southern California, Nothern Rockies, Pacific Fjords, Pacific West, Southern Alaska is all in the NA region I have installed.

Sorted even though FSDT KLAS was uninstalled it was still within my scenery library so removed it and it now works no trenches anymore :)

I had noticed that running the Vector elevation correction scan seemed to miss out KLAS on completion and i had to disable it manually by moving it over from enabled to disabled. This fixed elevation issues at the airport for me. I dont use ORBX California however what i do use is Vector & North America OpenLC.

I have the same problem as mentioned several times before. Here are some findings:

- ORBX Global installed
- ORBX OpenLC North America installed
- FSGU NG Mesh installed --> when you disable the entire "North America" region within the scenery library the problem is gone --> I asked the developer of FSGU for the specific name of the .bgl as I do not want to disable the whole continent but he said that this is a FlyTampa problem...so no real help from this side.

- NO ORBX Soth California installed
- NO ORBX Vector installed

So we need the name of the specific .bgl which is responsible for mesh in and around KLAS to manually disable it as this is a FSGU problem. It is not ORBX related at first sight.

Thanks for the report. As said before, we do use real world elevations which we gradually fade out to blend in with surrounding default terrain, or surrounding ORBX terrain. We have worked with ORBX on this to make sure we have seamless transitions (of course by de-activating the necessary files). I'd expect FSG would be similar, but will investigate

Maybe you guys will have better luck because Pilot FSG is no help at all. If they do help, I see most of the FSG issue on the east side of the Airport off the 26 end. I see the slope you mentioned because FSG is fighting for position and as I fly over it’s as if FSG disappears, like a wave effect.

May I ask how exactly you disable AEC in Orbx Vector Tool? Delete it??
Thank you in advance.

@carbonbell once you have removed ADE_FTX_SCA_KLAS_elevation_adjustment.BGL see pictures: Type in the left box KLAS and it'll appear under neath click it so it goes blue and click disable and that should work :)

The same here wiht elevation issues. I have only FSGlobal Ultimate NG. As soon I disable FSGlobal Ultimate NG the problem is solved. Would appreciate Pilot's woult tell us which files we have to delete.

I thought I had the same issue: I deleted all the files mentioned in this thread and still had the elevation problem and was feeling VERY frustrated.

Then, I ran the ORBX app as illustrated 3 posts above, did a complete auto re-scan in that app and then manually disabled and removed the Elevation correction on KLAS per that illustrated post.

BINGO! That finally cured it. It felt to me like maybe running the re-scan in the ORBX app is necessary to pick up the fact that the conflicting files from ORBX have been pulled. . . or maybe the re-scan first and THEN disabling KLAS in the the app was all that is was necessary all along. (Note that the ORBX app itself says that you should run a complete re-scan after making any scenery change.)

In any case, if you haven't tried correcting the problem from inside the ORBX app, try it. That alone has solved similar elevation problems for me with other non-ORBX add-ons in the past, but I had forgotten it until I saw the post above
