Just a question: is it possible that you make your jetways support inverse kinematics to make them work like the default FSX ones?

If you'd like, there's what seems to be a pretty good tutorial on doing them over here: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/wiki/index.p ... o_tutorial.

Thanks!
They'll let Oliver Pabst's AES take care of the jetways.

Yeah, rather pointless to spend the time animating the jetways yourself when Oliver will do it for you, not to mention at the loads of other goodies. The only difference is, AES will cost a little bit this time around since the scenery is payware...at least I'm guessing it will.

Hey George,

As long as you are supporting FS9, I am VERY happy to support you. I honestly wish there was a better way we could help besides waiting around to buy the scenery...

My full support for FS9 version.

Sorry to hear about the job, George. I hope the things will settle for good pretty soon.

Thanks Edwin, thats very very kind of you. Boston will probably use a security key system that I suspect will be a massive inconvenience for you.
I'm not 100% sure how it will be distributed & even by who at this stage. I'm just trying to get it near complete before worrying too much about all that.

I'll be okay for many months yet. I'm pretty happy doing this. happier than I've been for years actually. So no need to worry about me too much yet :)

Good news is my girlfriend just got a good job, so I can sponge off her for a while :)

So how much do you make off these sales? Even if you sell 2-3 products a day thats a good living right there :P

Might pay the mortgage in a crime infested area of Detroit.

Well, if you figure he charges $30 for it and sells two a day then that would be $1680 a month. Let alone what he'd make when it gets released which I;m sure there are alot of sales the first week.

BTW, I can't wait for this scenery! I've been waiting for Boston in FSX for awhile. After this Tampa is my only other wish! :o

If sales are reasonable I'd like to go into fulltime scenery work.
I'll have to wait & see. I'm not looking for a new job anyway, i'm risking it with Boston.

I'm not planning any updates. Some of the older sceneries are so dated & too much work, its best to just start from scratch.
Jesus, I can't even imagine what you're capable of with all this time on your hands George. Quality designs, that's for sure. I
will buy any of your sceneries if they're reasoably priced and not as nuts on pricing as PMDGs products. I understand the times are though, but it's the same for everyone now, you know this first hand at this point I would imagine.
Like somebody said above me, it could be helpful to consider airport requests if you're planning to make this a full time job. I mean I'm no one to give you pointers in your career, but I think it could help you and makes sense.

Good luck, looking forward to BOS.
