FlyAmsterdam v1.3 Update

Post by emilios[flytampa] » Mon Dec 28, 2020 6:26 pm

For all Amsterdam die-hards, a little update to keep you going, ahead of the full v2 upgrade (coming soon)
This update comes as a full new installation. No prior version of Amsterdam is required.

To install, download FlyTampa Universal Installer for P3D and enter your serial number.
https://www.flytampa.org/downloads.html

Updates:
-Implemented FlyTampa Universal Installer
-Improved P3Dv5 compatibility
-Corrected airport elevation problems
-Automatic seasonal texture switches
-Optimised autogen around the airport
-Airport dynamic lights
-Optimised city 3D lights
-Airport lights switch on automatically at low-visibility
-Fixed ground texture artifacts
-Functional VDGS units for P3Dv5

*If you have previously installed FlyTampa-Amsterdam in a directory/location, which is different than the one you will be using to install v1.3, then you will first need to manually remove the older version's folders and files, listed below:

***\FlyTampa\Amsterdam
***\FlyTampa\Amsterdam_LC
***\scenery\world\scenery\AFX_EHAM_flytampa_dummy.bgl

Hi,
I currently have EHAM in P3DV5. If I update it to V1.3 do I have to uninstall it first and reinstall the new one or I could just update it instead of uninstalling the previous one?

To prevent any issues I would suggest a full new install...

I removed completely Amsterdam prior to installing 1.3 version. Going through taxiway Q I got launched in the air again. Also did not notice any changes in the Configurator for Amsterdam. Is it me doing something wrong here or you guys also experience the same?

Does this work directly with True Earth Netherlands or do we have to make the manual changes again ?

Thanks.

noticed after updating amsterdam this morning that you can no longer select the month in the configurator application. Am I missing something?
