What happened to Tokyo Haneda (RJTT)?

Post by Tinosky » Fri Mar 08, 2019 12:44 pm

I remember FlyTampa announcing the airport then cancelling it shortly after, due to another "Well known" developer tackling the project. We haven't seen anything in regards to Haneda in 2 or 3 years now. The only developer to provide something is Technobrain. They are not considered a top tier or "well known" developer , in my eyes.

Does FlyTampa have any interest to return to this airport? Or does FlyTampa know something we don't?

Thanks for you time.

Its very sad, I bought that other scenery and it looks like something out of FS98.

Unless Aerosoft or so are working on it, I can't understand why it was dropped

Technobrain brought a really good scenery out for Henada?
There are so much more uncovered airports.

Sorry but it looks poor and the price is ridiculous.

Hope all is well.
Any chance you might reconsider Haneda again.
I know you announced it, then Techno brain said they were doing it., but it is not much better than default.
Drzewiecki were hopefully going to do it but it looks like they are now only doing Narita.
A Haneda from Flytampa with Tokyo city would be really great.

I believe it was because wing creation immediately decided they were going to do it right after flytampa announced RJTT. However I think flytampa should have developed it anyway. It would have been much better, and no high quality scenery has ever been made for haneda

No, they're not going to only do Narita (which has recently been released). It's true they did Narita first, but they announced Haneda to be in development as well. They just split the project, that's all.

With Haneda in the works by Drzewiecki, there's no need for FlyTampa to do it as well.

Looking on Facebook looks like they have dropped Haneda and Tokyo City.
Any chance of reconsidering now.
You would do it great justice, and you must have felt it worth doing when you briefly announced it before others jumped on the band wagon. Narita is ok, but it is the major airports within cities that are better, Changi , Jakarta, Heathrow, Bombay makes for interesting approaches rather than just over nothing scenery.
Take care. all
