Well just completed my first flight and have to say I am experiencing low FPS with Dynamic Lighting on while using MSAA settings..It's a slide show. compare to other airports like FB KSFO which is smooth at 30fps and double the AI in that scenario. Anything I might be missing why it's in the teens?
System:
i7700K
32gigs ram
GTX 1080Ti
I also have very modest settings within P3D v4.4.

Re: V2 Dynamic Lighting LOW FPS
I Don't really know. The dynamic lighting doesn't affect my fps very much if at all. I have a 1070.
Tried turning it off to be sure that's the problem?
The biggest fps hogs at Montreal are the animated people & vehicles. Even with them enabled, I get 40-50 fps on a system much inferior to yours.

Re: V2 Dynamic Lighting LOW FPS
I have animated people turned off and to add insult to injury first flight into CYUL and P3D crashed...lol....not a good start...anyway yes turned dynamic lighting off and it was smooth on the flight going out....as i say above..the flight coming in...p3D crashed....It's a pretty clean P3D as well since I very recently cleaned all my hard drives etc....
Re: V2 Dynamic Lighting LOW FPS
Hi all!
I agree with George. I haven't had any drop in FPS using dynamic lighting. The scenery is actually better on performance than the older version. I am really impressed!

Re: V2 Dynamic Lighting LOW FPS
No problem with FPS here also. I've got a 8700k + 2080. No problems with dynamic lights. Plus using Ai Reborn dynamic lights. Amazing reflections of AI on runway at night. Since P3dv4.4, I dont consider DL to be a problem anymore.
Thanks for the update.
