Fly Tampa sceneries for Xplane 11
Re: Fly Tampa sceneries for Xplane 11
Yes that would be sweet if they do make their scenery X pLane 11 compatible
Re: Fly Tampa sceneries for Xplane 11
Gotta bump this up! Guys, don't leave us hangin' here, please!
I even read that FSDT considers development for XP11. Having FT join the crowd would be the cherry on our cream!

Re: Fly Tampa sceneries for Xplane 11
Hi, I came across this old thread & am throwing my hat into what should be obvious, that I think FlyTampa should produce or modify scenery for X-Plane. I would gladly pay like Everyone else for scenery. In fact, I would purchase any scenery I have converted as there are ALWAYS some issues, mainly mesh & ortho textures (often LOD tweaks) which are never as good as your versions. Thank God for Aerosoft & Drezweiki as limited as they may seem, I would not want to be without their airports.
Re: Fly Tampa sceneries for Xplane 11
Hi Team,
I'm like everybody here, I would like to have my Fly tampa scenery for Xplane 11. I think X plane 11 will be the future. I was with P3D and I make the switch on X plane for many reason. But I miss something realy important and it your scenery.
I hope so you will consider to upgrade your scenery...
I will buy it without a question
Regards

Now that 11 is out, any word from the FlyTampa devs on this matter? I am somewhat excited...

Re: Fly Tampa sceneries for Xplane 11
Sad indeed that we did not get any statement yet.
Should you ever decide to develop for XP, you are more than welcome and I (and lots of others) will surely purchase all of your wonderful airports again!

Re: Fly Tampa sceneries for Xplane 11
I secretly believe that the future of prepar3d gives us much more options and abilities of flight simulation.
Xplane 11 sure is a fantastic platform but there are to many features missing which other platforms already have or had to gain more fps. With this said, the market of prepar3d grows way faster than xplane which I doubt FlyTampa will ever take a look at (at this point) seen from what the future might bring us.

Hey Guys.
Xplane11 looks great, especially at night but we are all very busy on our various current projects & haven't had any time to look at xplane in detail. There are other Sims coming to market soon, so there has been a lot to learn.

Thanks a lot George for your insight into the current situation.
Have you ever thought about a cooperation with Icarus Simulations? It's a guy/team that converts scenery into XP on behalf of the original FSX developers. Recently they converted LatinVFR's KSAN. Since they publish via X-Aviation I think the software is also well protected by some sort of DRM if that is of any concern...
Having said that, I am also looking forward to P3D v4. That does not mean that it is my only sim of choice though. XP in the current state does have a right to exist and definitely deserves more support from devs.
