DAT File
I apologize in advance for the question but can someone tell me what to do with and where to place the DAT file? Somewhat new to FSX here so not sure where in FSX to place it. Thanks in advance!

Re: DAT File
The .DAT contains installer-asscociated data, and needs to be placed in the same folder with your FlyTampa_Copenhagen_FSX_P3D_11.exe
Then you can just run the .EXE to install the scenery.
Then you can just run the .EXE to install the scenery.

Re: DAT File
You just download both the File1&2 (EXE and DAT) into the same location, like c:/users/xxx/downloads for example. Then you run the EXE file to install.

Re: DAT File
Thanks for your help, I am running the install from a thumbdrive on a fresh install. Do I put the DAT file in the the folder that contains the install setup? I dont quite get what to do, I think I am making it harder than it is. Could you try one more time for someone with little computer experience/terms. I am sorry for the trouble.

Re: DAT File
Simply, the .DAT file needs to always be in the same location with your .EXE file.
For example, if you downloaded the .EXE file into folder 'downloads', then you also need to put the .DAT file into the same folder 'downloads'.
Then, just run the .EXE to install the scenery.

Re: DAT File
So I downloaded the installer and DAT file from my laptop to a thumbdrive to install on my desktop, I dont have the EXE in a folder i just have all of my FT sceneries EXE files and the DAT file on that thumdrive by themselves. Seeing how it is with the Cop. EXE. on the thumbdrive do I just run it and it will take care of the DAT file?

Re: DAT File
Yes. In any case, once you run the EXE, it will tell you if it can't find the DAT file. If it just starts showing you the license, serial input etc, that means i worked.
