OSS FINALLY DEAD!!!!!!!!!

Post by USairwaysM80 » Tue Dec 12, 2006 10:21 pm

As we all pretty much knew OSS was pretty much a crock of poo, We have waited many years for sceneries such as KMCI, KOak, KSTL and then they finally close up shop, all I have to say is its about time this happens!!!!

Too bad. I had a chance to look at an early Beta of KMCI once and it looked quite promising. Thats 2 years ago tho.

I saw it as well. It was quite impressive. As was what I saw of Little Rock and Modesto.

I was really hoping for that release. If only someone else can pick up where they left off and bring this airport to life. hint hint! :D

From what I heard, the people who worked on some of these projects remain the copyright holders and could keep working on and finish these products if they wanted to. Its not like Jeff pulled everything into the grave so to speak.

There is a new file for the Emb120 on AVSIM from OSS so they must still be at work.

Kinda makes me wish I had not stopped working on my St. Louis scenery. Once OSS announced theirs I pretty much abandoned it as I figured they would be able to work out a much better version than mine considering I had never done a scenery before.
