In trying to install any of the Fly Tampa series and am running the 64 bit version of Windows.
Everything appears to install fine except when cfgedit tries to run. I get a message saying that this is incompatible with 64 bit windows.
I manulay add the scenery to Fs and everything appears to work correctly.
Can you please confirm that this is the only thing that cfgedit is doing. If not can you advise what else it is changing.
Cheers

Russell,
You are actually seeing better performance with XP64?? From what little I have read, XP64 emulates 32bit applications in a seperate 32bit environment; resulting in a somewhat slower run. I hope this is wrong and you are correct. Are you running a XP64 processor, or an Opteron system? I have been procrastinating on upgrading to XP64, but would get on it sooner if I knew it would be of benefit. (I'm running dual 248 Opterons)

It runs smoother, frame rates dont actually increase just texture loading time and no stutters.FPEMiller wrote:Russell,
