There are no good sceneries of the old Guangzhou airport, Bai'yun International Airport.
FlyTampa did such a good job with Kai Tak, I feel a Guangzhou scenery would be just as good.
With it having such a mixture of traffic and close proximity to the city, it'd be very fun to fly in and out of.
What are your thoughts?

Yes, because everyone is dying to buy this airport.

Hey Cgold, I don't think closed airports are of interest to flight simmers personally, so I don't envision this will be on the priority list for any designer..... the new/current Airport on the other hand would be more of an interest....
You have to remember Kai Tak even though closed is just one of those airports that still intrigues today's simmer world wide, with the checkerboard approach and the proximity to the city and harbour its just a gem that couldn't be turned down.......
Maybe look to more current airports when throwing out requests......

Re: Old Bai'yun Airport - Guangzhou
I know its been closed for a while now... which is a shame. It had a personality similar to that of Kai Tak.
Maybe not as tight or as hair-raising as the 47 degree final approach at Kai Tak, but it does warrant some attention.
Too bad it has all been torn up and/or paved over. The new airport looks good, but seems to lack the fizz the other one had.
