In FsPassenger the airport listed is ZTPA not KTPA

Post by bsavo » Sat Mar 24, 2012 8:33 am

I love your sceneries, but i use FsPasenger for my Virtual Airlines. When I fly out of Tampa the airport departure was ZTPA
not KTPA. Is there a way around this. Everything about the airport works fine. I have tried a few times in FSX to change it but it only recoginized ZTPA even though FSX said its KTPA. Bob Savo

I can not believe that no one has replied to your post. I have the exact same problem and FSPassenger was of no help. I guess it is just you and me out of thousands who have this problem or glich. BobK

We don't use Fs passengers to test, but this question has been answered before.

Anyway, try downloading the attached file & replace your local file with it. It'll be in flytampa\scenery folder.

Thank you for the fix. Its a great looking airport, I am looking forward to seeing some new airports. How about Charlotte?

Even though this is a really old thread, I've recently encountered a similar problem with KTPA and PSXseecontraffic reading it as ZTPA. I have tried the .bgl attached and it makes no difference. I did find a solution, however, by deleting the ZTPA.xml, which is a generated file by ParkPosGenerator, and used by PSXseecontraffic to know airport parking layout.

I also found ParkPosGenerator xml's for ZBOS (Boston), and ZABA (Saba) and deleted those xml's. There may be other FT airports that fool PSX, but these are the only ones that I own that have a bgl with a "Z" as the first letter.

Thought I'd post to help anyone with a similar problem.

Kind Regards,
