CTD's and Instrument Blackouts on Xbox

Hi everyone,

Just purchased the Amsterdam addon through the marketplace on Xbox. Trouble is I can't seem to escape CTD's and instrument blackouts when attempting to start at or fly into Amsterdam. This is happening with the PMDG 737-800 and the Vision jet.

Has anyone else enjoyed the same experience? If so, were you able to overcome it? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

It should run fine on both jets. Which XBOX series are you on?

Thank you for the response. I'm on a Series X. Here are some things I attempted since posting:

1. Tried loading into Amsterdam with the PMDG 737-800 and the Vision jet again which caused a CTD on both attempts.

2. Flew into Amsterdam with both planes and the entire cockpit blacked out upon approach.

3. Tried loading into Amsterdam with the base 320Neo which caused a CTD.

Here is a list of "non-standard" addons I have installed that, in my opinion anyway, might cause a conflict but I haven't had a chance to test:

1. Campout Utility
2. Enhanced Airport Graphics by Zinertek
3. Enhanced Runway Lights by Flyt Simulations
4. Flow Essentials - Menu Wheel by //42
5. Weather Preset Pro by Sofly

OK. I'm making some headway.

Upon uninstalling a couple of my marketplace addons (Enhanced Airport Graphics and Enhanced Runway Lights) I was able to load into Amsterdam using the 737-800 without a CTD.

Unfortunately, I can't do much after that. The instruments are and remain blacked out so I can't plug in my flight plan etc.

Any thoughts on this?

This is what I would start suggesting-perhaps there are addons which, in combination with Amsterdam, run XBOX out of memory. Unfortunately, there are endless possibilities about which addon pushes memory outside the limit, and in the end it's down to user priority on what they want in the sim. XBOX is apparently quite limited in terms of resources, so more prioritisation is needed vs PC version.

The PMDG was one the aircrafts that worked seamlessly on XBOX with Amsterdam (no other 'global/environment addons')

we will be updating AMS with lower memory footprint-hopefully this will help a bit.

Thank you for the response Emilios. I was beginning to think that it might have something to do with resources. I'll continue to look for ways to reduce global resource gobblers. When do you expect to release the "lower memory footprint" version?

to whom it may concern,
hi ive all of your airport add ons for the the xbox series x and i was really looking forward to having them but all i get is CTD's and black screens on all of your airports im not happy as you charge what you charge for them and they dont work on xbox im looking for a full refund on all airports please as they are faulty products.
hope there is a resolution for this cause i like your products
