AI Ships constantly requesting IFR to 22FJ....

I must say, I love this scenery. I have been flying everyday since I bought it. I only have one little issue however.

I take off from TFFJ and head to TNCM. Once I get there, I contact tower and ask to land. Then the ships start requesting IFR to 22FJ...and are constantly talking.

Anyway to avoid this?

I noticed that to. I am surprised that no one has responded to this. I would like to know the answer also, if it's fixable.

I haven't checked yet. Because they are AI "entities", they need a fake airport , request clearance etc. That part is unavoidable. I will check the frequencies, don't think you should hear them unless tuning into 22FJ.

Martin, can't they be VFR? That way they only have to request taxi (and takeoff I guess, lol)

I will look at that too. They were actually VFR all the time during development and I don't really recall why I changed them to IFR. There probably was a reason tho.

I mentioned this in an earlier thread. My suggestion there still stands. 22FJ could be given a couple of ATC frequencies that don't conflict with any nearby airports and then chatter amongst themselves somewhere away from Juliana tower. I think they call up Juliana because they're effectively at a non-tower airport and contact a nearby airport for clearance. This is why you also hear the "clearance void 30 minutes from now" part. If 22FJ gets its own tower frequency these "flights" will request clearance off Juliana's frequency.
