So yeah, I just tried to buy TNCM...

Post by N620AA » Sat Apr 14, 2007 6:51 pm

Hi:

I just purchased TNCM, or so I think. I entered my info, all appeared to go well. I received one e-mail saying I had submitted the information, and another saying it had been received. I never got a confirmation on whether the payment went through or not, or information on where to download the product. I tried calling 800 number on the e-mails, but it takes me to an answering machine that says they'll get back to me in one business day...

Any idea on whether I'll have to wait 'til Tuesday to know whether my order went through or not? I'd really hope not... But if it will be so, I'd like to know in advance.

Thanks in advance for any answers you can provide.

Hi:

Three hours ago now, and no, I used my ISP account.

EDIT: I also checked my spam filter, it wasn't filtered out. It just hasn't arrived.

Thanks for responding. 8)

Martin gets a confirmation when your order goes through, just wait for him to come back and check on it.

Daniel: If the word "Piñero" is part of your street name, I see you in the list of not-yet-charged pending orders.

That's me. Any idea on whether they're processing orders as we speak? Or did they stop until the next business day? I am asking so I won't be anticipating this if it's not coming 'til Tuesday.

Thanks for your responses, Martin and Paavo.

No, the process is automated and works the same on Christmas night or anytime.

The previous user which reported a delay and was in this pending list has been processed, there are only 2 pending orders now. No way it will take until Tuesday. The max I ever heard was 6 hours. The reason I think are credit card transactions. Depending on who issued the card, what account the card is linked to etc is what makes the difference whatever its instant or slow. I think some online shops just confirm the card in some Visa/Master database but don't wait for the actual fund transfer, which is what BMT does.

That's no problem... Thanks for your quick responses. I'm setting up my profile here while I wait. 8)

I'm the ATM at the San Juan CERAP on VATSIM... So it looks like your scenery will ensure some busy scope time for us. Thanks! I can only hope you'll look at TJSJ someday.

Thanks again!

I've had this happen at simmarket once, my cc company thought it might be a bad charge and didn't let it go through. I called my cc company and they let it go through.

Yeah, I love this new Bank/CC spying thats supposed to protect us. Fly to Singapore without letting your Bank know (ticked paid cash) and you maybe in for a surprise when you hit $5000 on that ATM in the Singapore suburbs :)

Hmmm. From what I gather, it hasn't been attempted yet. If it does get rejected (I suppose I'll get an e-mail if that's so), I'll call me CC company and try again.

Call them now, if they put a hold on it they don't call you for hours, this is what happened to me at simmarket. Since simmarket isn't in the US the cc company thought it was somebody else using my card.

Guys:

I thought the card had no funds for a second... But it did, and the order just came through, 5 hours later. Thanks a ton for the help. 8)
