Hi, I have a few FlyTampa airports including LGAV, KLAS, EKCH. They were all purchased on the Marketplace for
PC which is a problem for GSX Pro because it can't read the .bgl file as it is encrypted so GSX uses the "default" .bgl file instead which doesn't match custom airports. I wonder if it's possible to make only the .bgl file available un-encrypted for FlyTampa airports so we can use GSX Profiles being published on flightsim.to (there is one already for LGAV but doesn't work with Marketplace version) . GSX supports dropping unencrypted .bgl files into their folder to allow it to read the proper gate data for 3rd party airports. Thank you.
GSX Pro support - unencrypted .bgl file
Re: GSX Pro support - unencrypted .bgl file
Same for me, I appreciate if Fly Tampa give a solution for peoples buy on Marketplace are possibility use the GSX profil ... I bought Vegas and Copenhague on Marketplace, an now we are punished for this !
Great if Tampa, same of some other editors, give the BGL placement for use GSX with profil ! Thank's

Re: GSX Pro support - unencrypted .bgl file
I have the same problem with my Marketplace orders
Re: GSX Pro support - unencrypted .bgl file
Buying from the marketplace is the problem. Complain to Asobo would be the way too go. They removed the encryption with aircraft, maybe they'll do the same for scenery if enough people make a stink.
Re: GSX Pro support - unencrypted .bgl file
Well that's why Asobo implemented the new navdata API and GSX is able to use it since 17th of October 2022.
Just turn it on in the GSX installer configuration and you no longer need any BGL files.
Hence I guess this thread is no longer an issue.
