Frame Killer

Post by Qjohnson2381 » Sun Jul 26, 2020 7:53 pm

Visually this may be one of the best things for XP in a long time however the frames are absolutely horrible. I have a 2070Super and 32GB of ram on a i79900 i should not be getting 17FPS. please tell me a hot fix or a update is coming to better optimize this..

Graphics settings is the clue. In my system which I have XP version 11.41 and version 11.50 both is giving me 53 to 80 FRS with Las Vegas. LGTS gave me 81 FRS with XP11.41 and 121 FRS with XP11.50. You can start with the Graphics default first and gradually sliding individual setting for testing. Try that.

Hi Qjohnson2381,
Today I adjusted Graphics Antialiasing from 8 to 4 and I got easy over than 20 FPS higher. It was 53 FPS before. I will test the option "Draw Shadows On Scenery" which gave me some issues before with Antialiasing 8. Maybe in your system it performs better. Anyway, VulKan is a Monster!

Hi there

I really have massive performance-issues with that scenery. Even with Vulcan. I applied the fix but that didn't change a lot. I have massive stutters, the fps reaching around 40-45 with the FF757 but when switching views or moving around with the camera, they go down to 20-21 and big stutters happen.
I'm having a pretty good system and get around 35-40 fps above ORBX true Earth but the impact of that scenery is huge and i can barely use it without the immersion being ruined. It really looks like the impact of the strip is too high. I personnally don't need so much details. Is there a possibility to optimize it? Or do i have to delete the scenery of the city to make it work well? Hmm...

You want higher FPS even though? Try this as well:
Antialiasing 4X
Anisotropic Filtering 8X
Enjoy ......
