Martin how can I contact you??????

Post by IFC2006 » Tue Jan 31, 2006 10:02 am

Hi Martin,

We have been sending emails to you for quite some time now with regards to talking to you and the team of Fly Tampa about attending the International Flightsim convention in Denver this year. may be we have the wrong email address for you or your filters are rejecting the email as we have sent a number over a period of time.

We have had many request from simmers asking if we have approached Fly Tampa to see if they will attend and I keep having to tell people that I am waiting for a reply.

Please could you drop me an email so we can have a chat to sales@ifcglobalnetwork.com.

Keep up the great work its brilliant !!

Hi Martin (and Mark),

The message you (Martin) are refering to has not reached me as far as I remember. I have seen one mail from you telling me you where not able to reach us on IFC. I pointed you on a typo in my e-mail address one of us has made, as this could have been the cause you could not reach me.
If I had seen your message you where not able to attend (which we regret of course), neither me or Mark would have contacted you agian about this issue.

But it is no problem, however we are sorry to see you are not able to "meet and greet" both us and your custommers during this weekend. Especially as the USA convention is being organised on request of the US flightsimmers. They where not able to attend to the conventions in Europe and requested IFC to come to the US. So we will, supported by a lot of European companies.

Maybe next year we can meet you Martin.

All the best from Holland, and keep developing the nice airports. I love to fly into them on my sim.

Good evening Martin. I as one in many support both FlyTampa and IFC Denver & NEC and I don't see a reason why you shouldn't attend either of the conventions unless it's a personal reason. All of the IFC team are ever so friendly and work their socks off trying to get companys like FlyTampa to attend but all they dont even get a reply. I bet ALL of the flight simming community will know who FlyTampa are by the time one of the conventions has finished if you are taking a stand there ofcourse! So why not give it a go? You don't have to go to both of the conventions , just get your tastebuds rolling by going to one! Speak to you again soon. Kestrel.

Hello Martin:
I am the CEO of several very large virtual airlines. Many of my pilots use Fly Tampa software and love it ! It would be very dissapointing to learn that you are not attending IFC Denver! I believe this woul really make a name for Fly Tampa around the world! It would be a great oppertunity to be able to interact face to face with Fly Tampa and hear about upcoming projects as well as give some feedback on future projects! The folks at IFC are hardworkers and very outstanding gentlemen, interested only in the same this as we all are, Promoting Flight simulation around the world! IFC can do this with you help so I think you should seriouly reconsider your position on attending! Thanks For Your Time.

Hi Martin,
Your scenery was designed magnificently and I commend your team for the hard work and detail. In addition, I know that a product is good when Mark Silcock (IFC) invites the software developers to his conventions. Now, I'm sure you have your reasons why you are not able to attend, however, I think it would help us as sim builders and sim pilots to see Fly Tampa represent themselves by attending these great PR events that IFC produces. It only improves your business and gains more customers. With that in mind, maybe you could contact Mark personally as a representative of Fly Tampa and see how you could arrange attending one of these conventions in the future.

Sincerely,

You all make it sound like a crime not to attend.
Neither of us have the time or money to travel to 100s of miles Denver.
The thought of face to face questions from some of the characters in this forum terrifies me anyway :)

Hi George,

I am an exhibitor at IFC DEN and i have to disagree with your comments. I am travelling for 4 days solid at a cost of over £1000 to DEN show and i know that the limited range of products (i am exhibiting) could easily be outsold by yourselves. Why am i doing it then you may ask?

Because IFC will be the first proper show i have seen being held in the USA and I know that being a part of this myself will help me greatly as it has a huge loyal following.

Feel free to email me as i can give you an unbaised view of the things you can expect, and trust me they are worth attending for!

Warm Regards,

I don't understand why everyone keeps going on and on about this. If they can't afford the time or price of the trip then they can't afford it. Remember, they are just regular guys like you and me. They have real jobs and obligations. They are obviously not millionaires. If they could make it to IFC I'm sure they would. But all of these pleads aren't helping to change their minds. As flattering as I'm sure it is to have so many people wanting them to attend...they've already said they can't make it. So how about cutting them a break guys.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing a split second before I read your reply.

I'm sure this is just a clever ploy to put you or Martin in a postition where someone can slip a rufie in your cocktail and make you do LAX while your better judgement is impaired.

It rubs the lotion on its skin. It does this whenever it is told
It places the LAX in the sim.

Good morning,
I am a new customer and as fae I search how to have a contact for a technical service as I find no adress for help.
My PC WIN10, P3Dv4
I purchased on 02/08/2023 by Order Nr: 3275376 via SimMarket: LGRP (RHODES) and LGIR (HIRAKLION).
Since, I have still problem with ATC which ask either "Contact Hiraklion Approach on 123.97]" or "Tune clearance on 159.170". A click on doesn't make any effect, and these frequencies can't be settled manually.
It is surely an error in the .cfg file but I don't know what to do! I know nothing about but You know; Then, please do something and reply
You can fix this malfunction.
Thank you for answering me
