Cargo parking
Cargo parking
I use your AFCAD2-File (Update 1.1), but at the cargo-terminal I only see DHL. I have many Cargo-Aircrafts, which have in FlightPlans KSEA.
China Cargo Airlines (B744F) f.e. is parking at a "normal" (paxe) gate, but not at the cargo.
In the aircraft.cfg there are right atc_parking_types=CARGO and
atc_parking_codes=CAL. At the cargo-terminals I edit the cargo-parking-places in your AFCAD2-file with the parking_code CAL.
But the China Cargo Airliner still parking at the "normal" gate.
What's wrong? Can you help me?
Best Regards
Michael

Thank you for your answer. The ICAO Code which I used, is wrong. Not CAL (and not CALC), but CKK. As the passenger gate there is an ICAO Code CAL. That's why the cargo airliner parked there.
I changed this, but the Aircraft still parked wrong. So I change the PAI-B744F to a AIA B747-400F.
Now (with CKK and the AIA B744F) thr Aircraft is parking at the Cargo-terminal. Maybe something in the the PAI FDE is wrong.

Thanks. O.K. I understand.
But the right ICAO Code from China Cargo Airlines is "CKK". Maybe for FS is better to edit a "C", if this arline have PAX flights, too (here CAL).
But I added "CKK" (the right code) and the Cargo-Aircraft is standing right at the cargo-terminal.
I had a PAI aircraft before, which had the "CKK"-Code, too. But it's parking position was always wrong. The AIA aircraft with "CKK" is parking right! That's why I believe, it was a problem of the FDE-File of the aircraft.

Michael,
I think you are getting your cargo airlines mixed up a little. CKK is the identifier for China Cargo Airlines, who only operate MD-11F aircraft. CALC is the identifier we use in FS for China Airlines Cargo who use 747-400Fs (in reality they use CAL). Here are some pictures to help you out:
China Cargo Airlines (CKK) MD-11F:

*Note that it has a China Eastern type paint scheme to it.
China Airlines Cargo (CAL, CALC in FS) 747-400F:

Both cargo carriers fly to KSEA, so you'll have to make sure that you have some parking spots assigned to both CKK and CALC (assuming your aircraft.cfg entries are correctly edited), or leave some cargo spots 'empty', meaning no airlines/carriers assigned to them. Hope that helps a bit.

Here's another very handy site for working with parking codes: http://www.airlinecodes.co.uk/
Just go into the "airline codes" section and you can search for the proper code to use with your AI.

Sorry I didn't chime up earlier, was having too many computer problems to worry about AFCAD. However, if anybody has any questions on AFCAD let me know, I'd be glad to answer them. (kwsqd@comcast.net)
