You may try asking this question over at the Flight1 forums...so far people seem to have asked about compatibility with every concievable add-on scenery in existence.
Personally, I have GE and love it. I see no impact on FPS, and it has not conflicted with any of my add-on scenery packages. I would recommend it.

Go and buy it !
I use it with Austria Pro 2004 , Megascenery , Fly Tampa, France VFR and Vauchez and others.
GE2006 just replace the textures by default of FS9.So it won't interfere with add ons using their own textures.
A good piece of advice given to me by Peter Wilding is to rerun GE2006 after each installation of add ons so as to reinstall some GE2006 texture that could have been overwritten by the add on .
GE 2006 do not eat FPS !
I really enjoy it !

It's kind of like ice cream. Two different flavors. Similar, as they are both cold, taste good. But one person may like one better than the other.skydvdan wrote:I've seen some of the comparison shots between GE2006 and BEV and I think I'll stick with BEV myself.

It kind of boils down to personal opinion. Me, I have both, but am flying with GE right now. Who knows, in a week I may be back with BEV.

Exactly. From what I've seen in the comparison pics I just seem to like the higher contrast of BEV. But there are some things that I like better about GE2006.MD11Forever wrote:It's kind of like ice cream. Two different flavors. Similar, as they are both cold, taste good. Did you read about using both ? Install GE over BEV, then run BEV, this makes your default textures GE, you can then use both, because when you pick default FS9 textures in the BEV cofigurator, you are really using GE.MD11Forever wrote:It's kind of like ice cream. That is interesting...I may look more into that when I decide to reinstall my BEV textures.paavo wrote:Did you read about using both ? I'm doing just fine with my X800 Pro, all sliders maxed and consistent FPS around 20. I do plan on my next system having either a SLI or Crossfire setup though.(UAL 2842) wrote:I love it,
Makes it look so much more realistic, however it does help to have Dual 7800GTX's to push the GFx. Awesome though
