HI Sandon,
I got mail delivery failures trying to reply to your email, here is a copy/paste of the email:
The light-"bulbs" actually had to be removed in order for it to work in FS2004. The reason was that the Tampa scenery was created before FS2004 and the light bulbs used caused flashing/flickering effects in FS2004. Eventually this will be addressed in an update, more likely in however in a major "rework" of the Tampa scenery. Something like Tampa-2005 or 6 maybe.

thanks for responding
Well if that is the case ,why does this problem exist with all the other fly tampa products which I currently own?

Because Tampa was released in March 2003, FS-2004 in August, Miami in September and San Diego in December. The 2 newer sceneries use textures as light "bulbs", Tampa used "real" lights (like the ones on the control tower antennas etc). These kind of lights (maybe because used on a massive scale) caused the flickering effect in FS2004.

"Updates" maybe released much sooner than 2005 or 06, the version 1.2 we're at now is not the initial release anyway. Since the initial release Concourse B has been replaced between other things. The light issue that initiated this thread might very well be addressed in one of these updates.
As far as framerates at TPA go, to achieve a major increase in this area, a "full rework/total rebuild" will be required, that's why I refer to it as Tampa2005 or 2006 maybe.
