As a fan of your excellent work, I have Dubai, Midway and SFO, and soon getting Vienna, will you ever be doing any work for the Emerald Isle?

Oh I know this, I am a regular at the site and Beta Tester for their new Payware EINN, Shannon, but I was wondering if there was any plans as for example, in England, they have many different designers doing the same airports, some are good, some are excellent and some are crap. Just wondering you guys had any plans for Ireland thats all.....

Do they? UK2000.. OSS Gatwick/LCY... what else? UK2000 isnt that good and OSS if FPS hungry aswell. We need a payware developer such as FlyTampa to do a detailed yet FPS version of Manchester or somewhere similar , Dublin and Shannon have already been done detailed enough by IFSD.

Well EINN is in progress at the moment. No release date. I think someone said before Gary Summons might start Ireland, just thought it might be interesting since the Irish Sea has the most air traffic in Europe...

Gary Summons has a nice EGCC out right now. He is also starting work on Scotland and Ireland airports.

Unfortunetly Gary has only said he will be starting work eventually on Northern Ireland but hasn't said anything about the Republic of Ireland.

I can relate to what Rene is trying to say here. Although IFSD's scenery is good, it'd be great to see other companies do Irish scenery for the choice I suppose. I think if there were more choice available then it would increase competition and thus increase the quality of the scenery. I think IFSD's scenery replicates Dublin very well but for the stage flightsim is at now, just not well enough and it would be brilliant if a company like FlyTampa were to create Ireland scenery.

I think that flightsimming has come along so much now in Ireland that there must be more companies making their mark in Irish flight simulation because I don't think we should have to rely on IFSD alone to make Irish scenery because they can't cover everything and they don't have everything covered. There are still airports not done by IFSD such as Knock Airport, Kerry Airport and Donegal Airport. And some of the airports they have done such as Dublin need to be redone IMHO. I've made this point to IFSD developers and they gathered my point but obviously didn't agree with it but I know of many who do and I would very much love to see companies like FlyTampa make scenery of such high quality for an airport like Dublin which is becoming very well known in flight simming and especially on networks like VATSIM where traffic levels in Dublin are at record levels.

I know there is definitly a market for FlyTampa to make Irish scenery and it would most definitly sell extremely well not just to Irish simmers but to a lot of European, American and Canadian simmers so I would urge FlyTampa to please highly consider the possibiliy of making a move to Ireland. I myself have tonnes of photos from around the airfield of Dublin and I'd be glad to donate whatever was needed to FlyTampa and I guarantee that plenty would be willing to do the same.

Cheers,

James
