Greyed out entries_Scenery Librabry_P3Dv5_Jetways dont work anymore

Post by Christoph123 » Thu Sep 22, 2022 7:36 am

Hello guys!

Quick question regarding P3Dv5: In the Scenery Library some airport sceneries are greyed out, including:
"FlyTampa Vienna" & "FlyTampa Libraries"

- Meaning that I can't change their order/priority.

Is there any way to change the order of the Scenery Library nevertheless?

Thank you for your help,
much appreciated!

Yours,
Christoph

Hello again!

It would be really great to solve this issue, cause since my Scenery Order changed the Jetways at Vienna dont work anymore (Docking with GSX).
At other airports they work perfetly, so the issue applies to the FlyTampa Vienna Scenery only.

Thank you for your help!

The entries of all newer P3D addons are normally grey because they use the addon.xml method instead of scenery.cfg.

I'm not aware that layering is still important, first time someone asks. You can try in the Vienna folder edit the addon.xml

<AddOn.Component>
<Category>Scenery</Category>
<Path>scenery</Path>
<Name>FlyTampa-Vienna</Name>
<Layer>XXX</Layer>
</AddOn.Component>

Add the Layer entry there, try some high number like 260 perhaps
<Layer>XXX</Layer>

Hello!

Thank you for the reply! The Library Order is "solved" now, but the Jetway issue still persists. When using GSX, the Jetways won't dock to the aircraft, but stay in position. Any idea what could cause that issue? Maybe its SODE related?

Thank you!
