MSFS Boston Runway Bump

Post by SpeedDemon77 » Wed May 04, 2022 10:24 pm

Hello, today in MSFS with the MD80 I was landing using the ILS 04R. Well, just past or at the runway intersection there is a large enough bump that at 60 knots sends the nose sky high.

I was wondering if this has been noted by anyone else. Thanks!

Can you see this bump or the ac just reacts to something invisible?

Hello, I went back into the sim, and it's very notable. If you spawn in on runway 04R and continue all the way down the runway to the 33L intersecting runway, just before there is some weird geometry but it's slanted and I just found it but didn't hit it. After the intersection is a violent bump that will send you airborne. Attached is an Imgur album with all the dips I can find.

I am on Orbx and have no updates pending so I assume I am on the newest update, I even verified my files with no issues. Thanks for your help!

I was wondering if you could confirm these sightings?

I've checked and noticed a slight elevation issue that caused the aircraft to 'bounce' slightly on the take off roll (and was quite noticeable), but was able to take off okay.

It'll be fixed in next patch. Its a big patch, so will be a while yet.

It should also include improved Cape air ground markings
New Terminal C Optimization and B to C Connector

Excellent news, which VDGS will you be using?

I noticed a bad runway bump on 09 as well that nearly tossed my little CRJ into the air. I just bought KBOS from Orbx Central today so I'm happy to hear this will be patched - hope it doesn't take too long though. :)

Noticed a pretty significant bump on 22L as well. Might be true to life but it was enough to toss the 146 back into the air. I have a small clip of its effect but am not able to post the link here in the forums.
