Issues with Copenhagen EKCH for MSFS after WU6

Hi.

I have mentioned this issues on the official forums and raised a zendesk ticket with Asobo as well. Who must/should fix the issue is however an issue of discussion.. If MSFS states that there is nothing wrong in their recent update, then it must be up to the scenery developers to fix the issues for their customers or bring it up with their marketplace partner Microsoft.

FYI. I have been in contact with other users of this scenery and all I have talked to has the same issue. I also tried reinstalls, empty community folders and what not without finding any of the to fix it or cause it.

The issue.

The airport scenery worked fine up until WU6. After WU6 I noticed trees and shrubs to appear on several of the grassy areas inside of the airport boundary. (on approach to RW22L its particular bad).
On closer inspection I also noticed that the terrain texture or custom imagery has both a very clear color mismatch and might be slightly misaligned with the sim terrain. I suspect that this could be caused by the sim no longer reading previous exclusion zones correctly this placing vegetation in odd places and grass texture on roads. TBH it looks really bad and defo not up to the standards I usually know FlyTampa to deliver. I do however also recognize that MSFS is a very volatile sim to work with from a dev perspective, and changes occur often and can cause unwanted effects to 3rd party scenery.

I have attached some images of the issue.

I have tried my best to remember how it looked before the update, and I am unsure if some structures in the city itself but made by FlyTampa might have gone missing...

I could make a fix for the tree/shrub issue myself in the SDK but think it would be best if the DEVs/MSFS sort out their broken products for a more permanent proper fix. :)

I am seeing the same after the latest Sim Update 6. Would be nice if there is a fix!

Is there an update on this and the general updating the scenery for the new terminal/gates?

We need a more active support than this.

I have exactly the same problem. Very annoying since I fly mostly out and to EKCH on VATSIM.....it's a bit a killer of the realism

Any news yet on this issue?

Have fixed the tress and shrubs with free flightsim.to mod, but the ground elevation issue causing road textures and traffic to go below ground is still a thing :-(

How are you getting the trees there in the first place? I don't have them in my simulator. And no, I don't use a mod to remove them.
I do see the road problems as shown above, but not the trees.

Sometimes not having Bing Data turned on in the sim can cause the tree problem.
