Falling through Q and clipping the wing on invisible objects
Re: Falling through Q and clipping the wing on invisible objects
Unfortunately the update 1.3 still does not fix the issue on Q for me. Are you guys experiencing the same? I did a full uninstall and install on 1.3.

Re: Falling through Q and clipping the wing on invisible objects
I am not able to replicate this issue here-tried with both PMDG and stock aircraft.
Any chance you have another EHAM airport file anywhere in P3D root folder? You could run a search for 'EHAM' and list out any .bgl files found in P3D. Normally, you should not have any EHAM-related .bgl files outside the FlyTampa folders.

Hi Emilios,
Thanks for your reply. I did not find any other EHAM .bgl files outside the *\Flytampa\Amsterdam folder. See the screenshot.

and this is my FlyTampa folder

I would really appreciate if you can help me with this issue. it is super annoying that cannot taxi via Q.
Thanks

That looks correct. Will look into it more.
do you also get a 'crash' message on P3D?

Re: Falling through Q and clipping the wing on invisible objects
Prepar3d is actually not crashing at all. By going over the bridge on Q (both ways) you hit an invisible object and the aircraft is getting ejected into the sky. Eventually falls back down on earth :D and you can continue taxi if you're lucky. I can create a video if you want. Would that be helpful?

Re: Falling through Q and clipping the wing on invisible objects
I have the same issue.
51.HF2 with EHAM 1.3 and ORBX TENL.
Possibly Related Question: are there any changes to the AFCAD in 1.3 or can I use my customized afcad of the previous version?

Yep still getting it on taxiway heading to 18R haven't checked the others. I have noticed that my wheels on the 747 are slightly below the texture. Maybe that is an issue?

Re: Falling through Q and clipping the wing on invisible objects
Latest update I had no issues falling through the bridge in P3d v5
Re: Falling through Q and clipping the wing on invisible objects
Have always used 5m not that it matters here. I have tried every setting at EHAM.
Re: Falling through Q and clipping the wing on invisible objects
It really seems to be the PMDG aircraft. Had no issues with fslabs in my testing with 1.3
Re: Falling through Q and clipping the wing on invisible objects
The problem is easy to reproduce with the PMDG 747 at the taxi-way Q / Highway A4 overpass:

I normally run with mesh resolution at 5M at which the problem is very visible.
When switched to mesh resolution 1M the problem becomes much less visible. No more bouncing 747's. Only a little wobble.
Going a little bit off centre makes the problem more visible.
Has someone already opened a support case at PMDG?
