Las Vegas night lights patch [MSFS]
This patch is enhancing the night lighting for Las Vegas. It will add thousands more light sources with increased viewing distance.
It is entirely optional, but please note that it required at least medium settings on texture resolution, and a fairly decent anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering settings to look at its best. Slight artefacts are possible if settings are fairly low.
To install, unzip and drop the 'flytampa-lasvegas-citylights' into your community folder (please ask if unsure where this is located)

Re: Las Vegas night lights patch [MSFS]
Thank you for the patch even if I'm quite scare to see the performance impact of v1.0 on my modest PC configuration...

Re: Las Vegas night lights patch [MSFS]
I think the patch shouldn't harm frames. Not noticeably anyway. Its optional mostly because of personal preferences, rather than performance.
Vegas suffers a bit from AI traffic, I would try to keep them low if possible.

Re: Las Vegas night lights patch [MSFS]
Thank you for the advice, Emilio. My first minutes on the scenery are mixed and let's say strange. I have a roughly/average -10 fps impact that disappeared or not without any reason and reappeared later on. I tested with and without AI/network trafic. My first tests doesn't conclude that it depends on where my focus is targeted to. Still investigating.emilios[flytampa] wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 11:48 am I think the patch shouldn't harm frames. Can you please check what is happening. The sim crashes to the desktop when I try to go to KLAS. A lot of people are having this issue.emilios[flytampa] wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 11:20 am This patch is enhancing the night lighting for Las Vegas. Re: Las Vegas night lights patch [MSFS]
Is there a configurator for this scenery where we can switch the options for this scenery like the others and maybe turn the enhanced night lighting on and off?
Looked in the community install folder for both the AP and city scenery and did not see a config.exe...
Also, how do you go back to the standard night lighting if it too much of a performance hit?
Great Scenery BTW!

Thanks, tried it but went back to the default. This adds a little too much to the area.

Re: Las Vegas night lights patch [MSFS]
Yes it is independent of the version. It is an additional package on its own
Re: Las Vegas night lights patch [MSFS]
Does the patch enhancing the night lighting for Las Vegas included in the Installer ver 1.2?
