Having some trouble P3D v5

Post by Vajoot » Sat Aug 01, 2020 3:34 am

So I've installed Flytampa Sydney into p3d v5 D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d v5\ and I get the new scenery showing up alongside the default scenery.

I've edited the add-ons.cfg which looks like this:
[Package.0]
PATH=C:\Users\Alex\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\FSUIPC6
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=false
[Package.1]
PATH=C:\Users\Alex\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\Navigraph Simlink
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=false
[Package.2]
PATH=D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d v5\FlyTampa\Sydney
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=false

and also edited my scenery.cfg to look like this:
[Area.132]
Title=FlyTampa-Libraries
Local=D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\FlyTampa\Libraries
Layer=132
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE

[Area.133]
Title=FlyTampa-Sydney_LC
Local=D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\FlyTampa\Sydney_LC
Layer=133
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE

[Area.134]
Title=FlyTampa-Sydney
Local=D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\FlyTampa\Sydney
Layer=134
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I've also tried changing to add-ons.cfg to:
[Package.2]
PATH=C:\Users\Alex\Documents\Prepar3d v5\FlyTampa\Sydney
ACTIVE=true
REQUIRED=false

Don't use the addon method for Sydney. Only use the scenery library.

Ok so I tried a fresh install and didn't touch scenery.cfg or add-ons.cfg and I still get the same issue, could it be something to do with ORBX Australia v2?

Very probably. See if they have an afcad and disable it.
