This is so badly wanted. There is just NO decent EHAM for Xplane other than a very outdated Aerosoft one.
Please FlyTampa, take my money and make this V2 also for Xplane. :-)

I hope V2 gets made soon. I dislike the way V1 installs (so confusing). Nothing like KLAS or KBOS from universal installer.

How will the compatibility with ORBX TrueEarth Netherlands be? With the old version you had to tweak it quite a bit to make it work, I hope with the new version this'll be easier.

Is everything I posted last year regarding changes at AMS sufficient for the V2 version you are currently working on? Or are you still looking for information or images on certain things? Looking forward to hearing from you on this! Thanks!

Please know that the start of the construction of the new terminal has been delayed due to COVID, and will not start for some years.
As a result, they will:
-Finish the construction of the A-pier,
- Prepare all the land required for the new terminal (pre-construction work finished, but will remain empty/vacant until the aviation market improves to warrant construction to commence),
- Demolish the current/old B-C connector, while keeping both temporary connectors (B-C and B-A) active across the apron.
This is how the piers will operate until the new terminal comes online sometime during 2025-2030, including the empty gaping hole of the vacant lot reserved for its construction.

Also, here is an image of the construction currently going on to double taxiway Q:


This is an 'in between phase' which will be finished in the next 1-2 years. After that, they will work towards the final state where the full taxiway will be bi-directional around 2025 (this will continue and has not been delayed by COVID, as it is a safety issue instead of the capacity issue).

Most of the updates mentioned previously are in place already. The Q double taxiway however will not be included in v2.

Very very much looking forward to v2, Emilios! I love the original version (great visuals, great performance, big coverage area) and if v2 does to some extent matches EKCH it will be a winner for sure.

Being not from Amsterdam I cannot offer you any local information. But I would like to ask if taxiway A (i.e. the part with the taxiway bridge) could be revisited for the v2 update? At the moment it does look a bit curvy/bendy and it is to narrow for widebodies. It should more or less resemble adjacent taxiway B but with a very gentle curve close to A20.

And understandable regarding the double Q taxiway; impossible to keep chasing after all the changes on this ever changing airport.

EHAM is the best example. No one else will touch it because it is a huge project and FT have, sort of, announced it.

By being mute you are basically stifling other development, if it turns out you are no longer developing for X Plane.

If you are not doing this any more, please be clear about it, so others might,
