P3D V4.5 CTD issue

Hello,
I have had MDW for about 2 months, and it seems to make P3D v4.5 crash when I fly around it. I first noticed while on approach flying in, it crashed as soon as the airport loaded. I verified that I properly applied the V4 patch right after install.
I did a search around the forums and only found another thread which didn't really help my situation.
any thoughts on a solution?

I'm not aware of anything specific to KMDW that would cause this. Only idea is to fly around with AI traffic turned off to rule out a corrupt AI aircraft spawning at or near KMDW causing the crash.
