Sometimes no Dynamic light on Arrival

Hi there,

I recognized that also on other Airports.
Sometimes if you fly from A to B (in this case Vienna), there is no dynamic lightning present if you are on the ground.

After reloading the Scenery, everything is working again.

I read in some forums, that this is a "known P3D issue"?
Do you know something about this?

Strange that nobody else is recognizing it.

Using P3D 4.4 Academic latest version and FlyTampa Vienna latest Version.

I am not quite sure but I think I saw that in LGKR too.

No dynamic lighting on arrival, but working dyn lighting when freshly loading an airport is indeed a known issue with many airports.
It is not so clear if this is a P3D v4 issue or if scenery developers need to adjust their modeling.
Basically, it comes down to the fact that each light source effect file needs a controller fx file. If the controller effect file is missing, then the observed dyn lighting behavior occurs.

Many developers have issued fixes along this line for their sceneries.
I fixed some airports for my personal usage by adding such controller fx files which reference the actual effect.

I was about to go for LOWW, but hearing that the dyn lighting here also has the „not working on arrival“ issue spoiled it for me.

Has this issue meanwhile be fixed? I‘d love to get this airport, but only with a fully functioning dynamic lighting that also works when approaching Vienna from elsewhere.

OK, I'll answer my own question. I finally purchased Vienna, and the latest version I got does not have the problem of not showing dynamic lighting when arriving from another airport. Dynamic lighting works fine for me in all conditions (P3D v4.4).
Maybe it'll help someone else with a purchase decision.
