Universal Installer - Possibility to download the complete setup?

Hello everyone!

I have a problem that makes it almost impossible for me to install the FlyTampa sceneries with the Universal Installer.
The problem is called Internet speed.

I am living in Bavaria and have an effective download speed of approx. 400 kB/s. It takes mostly over 2 hours to download a FT Scenery.

Since it is only possible to download the sceneries (KBOS, CYUL, LGKR...) via the universal installer (which installs the scenery in one go), I cannot use an download manager on my other PC anymore (because there are no setup-files which I could download).

In short: I simply cannot download/install FT-sceneries which are using the Universal Installer.
While the Universal Installer itself is a quite good idea (in my eyes) I hope you understand that it really causes big problems with low internet speeds.
This is also preventing me at the moment to buy LAS (which I would really like to have on my PC!)

So, is there still any possibility to download full setups or another solution for my problem?

Hi everyone,

I second this problem, it took me 8 hours to download Vegas and then the installation failed.
Now I want to try it again and I have to redownload the whole scenery!
I even backed the downloaded files up from the Temp folder, but when I try to run them again I only got an error that I have to run them from the universal installer which insists on a redownload.

Can you please introduce a feature that you can download the files elsewhere and then use the universal installer to download them?
