Back in Avsim saw a post about an alleged new way of installing existing sceneries and also that there has been a new update for St Maarten. Below all the sceneries I purchased, some quite old.
St Maarten - BMT Micro
Viena - BMT Micro
Hong Kong Kai Tak - BMT Micro
Boston Rebooted - BMT Micro
Fly Tampa Toronto - BMT Micro
Copenhagen - BMT Micro
Dubai Rebooted - BMT Micro
Athens - BMT Micro
Amsterdam - Flightsim Store
Buffalo - Simmarket
Midway - Simmarket
Tampa Rebooted - Simmarket
Corfu - Simmarket
Is there any truth to this and if so how can I obtain this unified installer. BMT Micro is a real pain because whenever there is an update the login has expired and necessitates emailing them.
best regards
Joaquin

Re: New system and updates
You can obtain the new Installer with the link below, same file is also on Simmarket:
http://www.flytampa.org/dwl/FlyTampa_Un ... _Setup.exe
It currently lets you install the following:
St Maarten
Vienna
Kai Tak
Boston
Toronto
Montreal
Corfu
In future it will also install the remaining airports for P3Dv4 as well as new releases. The new Installer will show you the version history of each airport and let you install the latest or older versions. This 200KB file will be the only thing you need to use and should make your life easier regarding BMT downloads etc because that will no longer be necessary. All you need is this Installer plus your Serial number(s).
PS: Where your serial number comes from (Simmarket or BMT) doesn't matter, you use the same Installer.

Re: New system and updates
Hi Martin. First of all the new Installer is really good. Nice work. makes life easier. Just to clarify??!
I downloaded the new instaler from Simmarket (it was in my Toronto purchase) - removed the Toronot file and installed the new one. Question: Do i remove Boston, Vienna, Montreal and St. Maarten as well and reinstall or do I just run the new Universal installer to update it??
Many thanks
Elmar

Re: New system and updates
Correct, you can remove the Boston, Vienna etc folders prior, but you don't have to. The Installer does clear its own folders when installing.wegerlee wrote:Hi Martin. First of all the new Installer is really good. Nice work. makes life easier. Just to clarify??!
