Short answer - no!Paulyg123 wrote:Will new Boston scenery be able to be installed on P3D V3? Are they backwards compatible? Same for KATL and KLAS. I want to stick with p3d V3 and want to know if new flytapma scenery will be able to be installed on P3D V3???
Please read this statement regarding compatibility of future sceneries:

Re: Boston V4 Preview in Prepar3DV4
There are apparently some major releases coming in around P3D v4.1 release. I suspect we will see KLAS and/or KBOS at that time and probably FSDT KSDF. Not sure if we will see FB NZAA since nothing new has been posted since initial announcement was made with one shot of the Tower. As for P3D v3, forget it. 32bit flightsims are dead.
Re: Boston V4 Preview in Prepar3DV4
I was hoping this would be out in time for CTP Eastbound. Here's to still holding out hope.

Re: Boston V4 Preview in Prepar3DV4
are we going to see the new boston before 2018

Re: Boston V4 Preview in Prepar3DV4
I certainly hope so!! ive been really looking forward to this for months and the same with KLAS. Seems a shame that all has gone quiet and yet other developers have a massive sale on atm. They need to get their act together as im ready to buy!!

Re: Boston V4 Preview in Prepar3DV4
Maybe they are quiet because they are busy trying to release KBOS and KLAS for xmas. They do not need to get their act together. This is standard that they will give you more info when they are good and ready. Why do people have to act like spoiled entitled brats?.Vsfan1 wrote:I certainly hope so!! ive been really looking forward to this for months and the same with KLAS. I don’t think it’s hardly acting like an entitled spoilt brat. I think you are confused as I am actually really looking forward to the release and excited to see the fantastic job that they will have done and have been a big fan and advocate of their scenery! I was merely stating the fact that it has gone quiet and from updates and screenshots that maybe missing an opportunity that other developers have with massive sales on their scenery. Why do people think they are forum police? If you don’t like it - don’t comment!
Re: Boston V4 Preview in Prepar3DV4
Ok if i misintrepreted im man enough to apologise so i apologise to you. I guess in being around a long time flightsimming and lurking in all of these forums and seeing worse and worse a sense of entitlement towards developers when the development community in my opinion has never been stronger you get sick of seeing those kind of posts. I mean if people are dying for klas why not just use fsdt in the meantime? Anyway i misintrepreted your post sorry about that.Vsfan1 wrote:I don’t think it’s hardly acting like an entitled spoilt brat. George,
Is there any way to PM you? I'm interested in scenery development and was wondering if you can provide some start-up recommendations (what training do I need, what tools do I need, etc...). I'll be more specific if we are able to connect.
Thanks,
James

George,
Is there any update with this scenery at all? I'm so excited for this one and haven't heard about this one for a while...?

SODE? Anyone? Bueller? Seriously, I can't get the CTL J jetways to properly match any of my PMDG aircraft. SODE looks and works so much better.
