ILS Approach to low ?
hello, emilios
Can you check if ils approach is okee, because when flying in on several runways at EHAM
Always get 3 reds and 1 white papi light, instaed of 2/2 red/white
It also looks on visual final that appoach level is a little too low.
Have not been able to get a 2red/2white papion any runway used for landing until today.
Ils has been approved already a lot with update afcad, but small tuning to perfect would be really
nice.
hope you can fix this small issue aswell

Re: ILS Approach to low ?
have seen this issue nyself with landing on runway 27,06,18C,18R
but have not yet used all other runways but assume the glideslope factor should in all afcads
be the same.
but you can be see then I what GP profile has been used in each Afcad file.

Re: ILS Approach to low ?
Sydney,
As a FT Schiphol beta tester I have made perhaps 40+ landings on all runways who are used for landing in reality at Schiphol in my Prosim 737-800 full size simulator.
The lastest Afcad update files ( Central Fixes topic ) are very good.
I test the approaches/landings by letting the aircraft do autolandings , so no pilot error might infulence the results.
Eg : 36C

Re: ILS Approach to low ?
Forgot to mention :
- make sure sure aircraft is not too heavy on landing ( too much fuel left )
- make sure you have your Airac cycle up to date

Thanks for your comment
airacs are up to date , and weight is also not too heavy.
only see that you used the Prosim flightmodel and I use Pmdg Flightmodel , as most flightsimmer
maybe that can be the trick.

Re: ILS Approach to low ?
Hey Sydney,
Please apply the fix provided in the central fixes topic,
if you have done this, and only then, please give us a confirmation that it is still not working.
before the fix was provided, everyone had this issue, now, for everyone in the beta team and most people who bought it commercially, it has been fixed.
it's got nothing to do with the flightmodel used.
Niels.

With the afcad fixes the ILS and Papi are spot on using PMDG 737 and 777Sydney1962 wrote:Thanks for your comment

Re: ILS Approach to low ?
hello ,
can you advise me the date and time of the latest correct afcad files, because it looks
they have the same kb as the 1st updated ones I have from 29.12.2016 where the issue of GS was not solved.
because all files have same size, cannot see which one are correct.
my latest downloaded corrected files are dated 29.12.2016 02.45 hrs
pls advise.
