Compatibility with P2D v2.5

Post by jpost » Tue Dec 20, 2016 6:29 am

The Purchase page only shows a check-mark under P3D v3. I still have a bunch of other add-ons not upgraded to v3, so I've been holding back on upgrading to v3. So I'm wondering if I can install this beautiful airport under v2.5?

I have the exact same question. Is EHAM compatible with P3D v2.5? I don't really want to upgrade to v3 for the moment because, it's very likely that P3D will come up with a v.4 in a couple months since v.3 is now almost 2 years old.
If beautiful EHAM isn't compatible with v2.5, which other FlyTampa airports are v2.5 compatible? I'm really wanting to try out one of your sceneries!

Thanks for your help,

Kind regards,

lmion

P.S: It would be nice if it would be possible to see the full compatibility of each scenery on the website and not only for one specific version (P3D v.3).

As you can see, my inquiry has gone unanswered. P3D made some major changes in the way it handles scenery when it moved from v2 to v3, so my question is on backward compatibility. If I install EHAM will it work with reduced features or will it be totally unusable? Will I be able to point the installer to v2.5 or will it balk completely and refuse to install?

As for your other question, I have Toronto, Montreal, Dubai, Tampa, Athens, St. Maarten, and Vienna all installed in v2.5 and working just fine.

Please see this thread here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7797
I have not checked EHAM in v2.5 but there haven't been many changes to the way things were complied that make me think that EHAM is unusable in earlier P3D versions.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll probably give it a try once the EHAM final v1.1 is ready to go.
