Observations HD texturepack -VS normal installation VAS

Hi,

Firstly thanks for a great scenery ,

I am very impressed by the performance as well and did not suffer from VAS issues even with the NGX using OPENLC and Vector. Actually coming in from EKCH i had around 700mb free of VAS with the normal installation and TML2048 .

I did som test staying at EHAM gate C8 and desided to install the HD pack . I got an OOM even loading up the NGX so this was to much.

I tried the same but with the MajesticDash8-q400 and allthough VAS upon loading EHAM was as low as 50MB and the bell was going on it did manage to start up and VAS was recovered to 2.9GB (1.1GB free)

Is this because the HD package expans the area and then P3D upon loading the sim at first does not purge the memory ? I guess this is normal behavior

I will try out loading ActiveSky2016 AFTER the sim has come up . Maybe that way we can have HD texture (2048) with the NGX and expanded area.

Hi again

I guess my good results was because i only seem to have the airport installed . I dont see any stadions or skyscrapers ?

What am i missing here ?
