Hi chaps,
i suffered as well from low FPS although i have a high end machine running P3Dv3. Anyway i deleted the cyyz_terminal3_details.bgl and cyyz_terminal1_details.bgl. That gave me back around 10 FPS. Not that much that i get with CYUL but enough to be satisfied for now.
Thanks for CYYZ like it a lot

Reference P3dV2.5: I too have CYYZ and it is unflyable........I7-4770k@4.2, 780gts, 16 gigs ram etc. Your CYUL and KBUF work fine. I've done everything possible to help...lite textures etc.

After a long pause from Canada and Toronto, I decided to install it again (P3D v3.3.5) and was shocked. FPS were horrible (15 - 20) with AI off (I fly online). I wouldn't say anything if this would be a "smooth feeling", but it isn't. I turned everything off, with no luck at all.
All the time I thought FlyTampa is one of the "masters" of FPS and VAS, because Athens, Vienna, Copenhagen and Corfu work perfect for me (30 - 40 FPS in the PMDG NGX) with a good VAS footprint.
What is wrong here? It can't be Toronto itself, because with airport disabled, I have around 40 FPS in the 737 Cockpit again).

I can report the opposite, actually. Initially, I was having terrible frames within FSX @ YYZ. Once I moved over to P3D V3, I saw a huge jump in performance with the same system.
It allowed me to turn on more features as well. The thing with P3D is that you have to make sure your settings are appropriate for the flight you are trying to accomplish. Having everything on max will put the best system on it's knees. There's no way around it. Turning down some sliders will make a big difference.
It's all about being conservative with your settings. Not sure what LM did in that area but, YYZ is very enjoyable now.

Uninstall and re-install latest drivers. Check v sync isnt on, force v sync off in nvidia control panel.
Also as above edit the console in game to make sure max fps isnt set low
