AI Aircraft Missing

Appears that there is a conflict with some mesh data covering the airport. This does not affect departing AI, or the amount of traffic you should see when starting at the airport. It would only affect incoming AI.

Yes I had Corfu X installed.

But as far as I can say, I really removed everything. Even the LGKR_alt file in Scenery\Worrld\Scenery.
Don't know if any other original file was modified by the CorfuX installation.
I alöso have MyTraffic 6 but also there the LGKR file is set to off.
And I got ORBX Global, Vector an OpenLC, FSGlobal 2010.
But all of this is located below Corfu in the scenery libary.

But me too I got a strange Altitude by FSX ATC when flying into LGKR (approach to 35 via GAR). The ATC send me to 31000 feet. That is of course much to high for an regular approach. If the same happens to AI it is no wonder that no AI lands at Corfu.

I also got another hint that something might be wrong with the elevation / your Mesh.

Scenery itself seems to be displayed ok but ....

South of Corfu are normally two litte islands (Paxos and Antipaxos).
These are not there when Corfu_LC is activated in the scenery libary.
If Corfu_LC is not active these Islands are there again.

Normally no big deal as there is no airport on these two islands but
if you have a look at your Mesh you can also have a look at this.
Maybe only an exclusion area is set too large..

If you are in changeing at the moment I have anotherone you might have a look at.

If the static aircaft at the "East" apron are enabled. A small buisnessjet covers the parking that
is assigned to the users aircraft place (Ramp GA, Parking 4).
Maybe it is possible to place this static to a more northern place (beside the Cessnas).

And if possible could you make a more direct line to the parking places at the southern entry of
the apron (see yellow line)

AI traffic hotfix posted here: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=7897

For AFCAD edit to move the GA spot see attached .zip Extract and copy/paste the AFX_LGKR.bgl into your
'sim root\Flytampa\corfu\scenery' folder. If you want you can make a backup of the original before replacing. The shorter link to parking is creating conflict with AI trying to move in the alternate direction, and they tend to disappear suddenly, so no edits there, just the GA spot.

Ok I reactivated the file and loaded up using same day and time and nothing shows up.
I set my airline traffic density slider to 100% and got one lonely Thomas Cook A320 sitting on the tarmac.
Seems to me there is no incoming or outgoing flights either.
Fresh install into P3Dv3...no previous CorfuX.

Not sure if this can be further controlled for more AI....gonna have to check the MT6 simforum.

Second this one, with MyTraffic6 100% commercial, 7th June as per previous suggestion.. just one lone Thomas Cook a/c on tarmac, fresh install into FSX-se.. no previous CorfuX. Left sim running for around an hour.. no change, no arrivals, no departures. Hotfix installed along with changed ACAD from earlier in this thread.

other than that, the problem seems very consistent with MyT6 users, can't see anything wrong with Corfu AI with later versions of MyTraffic or other AI traffic add-ons.

Agreed, it's wierd.. yes this was post hotfix and also with the AFCAD fix used as well.

Did find another time slot that had a single Danish Airbus in the same slot which had gone when I changed the time forward by a couple of hours, so stuff does change but on a summer weekend, I just expected more to be around

A thought....

do we have the correct tower frequencies? Am not at my machine right now, but MyT6 relies on the tower frequencies as well as the schedules.

I noticed last night that default ATC was giving me the ground comms but was also giving me the options for depart straight out etc etc. (i.e no full tower comms)

I can try tonight by going back to default Corfu and running to see what MyT6 gives me there, but I do know that a missing tower frequency, or an amended one, can kill the AI in MyT6 from other scenarios. This would limit AI to only planes that have repositioning schedules in place that didn't come in IFR.

If needed I will try tonight and feedback any differences between default Corfu AI and this one and see if there are any changes and do a compare in ADE of frequencies.

did lots of playing.. same results with and without this awesome scenery (just 1 very lonely Thomas Cook Airbus).. read a lot of forums and discovered that in the last couple of weeks, MyTraffic6 has released a beta called 6a which updates a lot of schedules to summer/autumn 2015. Installed the beta and selected the autumn 2015 schedule and got the above and watched an AI plane takeoff.

The date of the above was set at August 8th at midday with Autumn 2015 schedule loaded with 100% commercial set.
