Agree with Airbasil! (Btw, where did i see your name before? The web is huge, i'm sure i've come across that nickname before...)
Copenhagen is available as v3.0 by Scansim, FlyTampa did a fantastic job there for FSX/P3D.
But Sydney YSSY has a huge gap and needs some amazing creation as only FlyTampa can do....
Montreal - Vienna - Dubai - Sydney would be the best legs ever... EPIC!

I don't know what currently goes on behind the "George-&-Martin" scenes, but i hope somehow, somewhere, they read all this messages, listen to their faithfull FS9 customers & consider a good option for such an important city as is Sydney...

Greetings to all Simmers, let's enjoy our hobby regardless of platform, religion, nationality, believe or anyhing else... ;-)

Hi,

I don't understand why FS9 is not supported anymore. I know it's work to make two or more versions of an airfield. But there are enough customers that will buy the FS9 products. Even for a slightly higher price than the FSX versions for example. I don't believe the developers that say FS9 doesn't sell. Still smaller developers like Drzewiecki en UK2000 are making multiple ported sceneries. So why doesn't make a larger developer like FlyTampa a version of their utmost beautiful sceneries?

Indeed very frustrating to have no reaction at all. I stated earlier in this thread that you can see how many flightsimmers still use FS9 when you look at the number of downloads of for example Vancouver by Jonathan Gabbert: currently more than 13.000 (see avsim library). Would have been a fair turnover for him, but how nice Jonathan did is as freeware. And we all state here that a payware version of YSSY will be no problem.
What is the point here to NOT give any reaction? It takes just a minute or less to say "yes, we're working on it" or "no, we will not do this" or "we're still thinking about it" .
Just Copy/Paste George/Martin !
Lookin'forward to hearing from you.

The more I think about it, the more I foresee that George will update us at some point with some nice preview screenies.
Otherwise I bet he would have already stated clearly that there won't be any Sydney for the loosy niner's . 8)

I have a CPU that can run fsx with all sliders full and still very smooth and I just won't use it because I love the program FShotSFX and you can't use it on FSX. so I use FS9 and I would pay for YSSY. plus I have way too much money invested in FS9 to give it up.

Sorry to say but I dont think an FS9 version is in the works..

Looks like an Upgrade to KBOS is on the go atm, http://www.airdailyx.net/fsnewsbreaker/ ... estination
This was George's first release so if that's the case to what he is working on I would say YSSY FS9 is dead.

Hi,

FS9 is alive and kicking. Take for example Kuala Lumpur Intl from A_A Sceneries and Cairo Intl from Armi Project. Two major hubs, so why not Sydney Intl from FlyTampa to add in this list?

How Epic will it be to do multiple legs-stops along the routes LOWW - HECA - OMDB - WMKK - YSSY?
Talking about High Quality FS9 Sceneries.... ;)
