Fly Tampa TNCM not detected

I have FT Maarten Complete V1.7 for FSX installed and showing beautifully. I tried to install the update Maarten FSX 12 but get an error message saying that V1.7 can't be detected. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling V1.7 several times but get the same message when trying to install the update. V 1.7 is placed in my Addon scenery folder along with FT Boston (updates applied) and FT Libraries. What do I need to do to get the TNCM update to install?

Question: Seeing that I am running Maarten V 1.7 Complete, do I even need the update?

V 1.7 is the latest version, no updates to install on top.
