X-Plane sceneries would be really nice :)

Post by Jude » Sat Mar 07, 2015 8:40 am

Hello Martin,
With the recent emergence of X-Plane 10 to the market and more and more (I hope) users,
is there the hope that Flytampa would venture into this market?
The recent CYYZ looks ideal for the task and would look great.

I realise this is a big business decision but it would be nice to come on board.

I haven't tried it yet myself, but there is a way to convert FSX scenery to X-Plane. I don't know how well it works though. I would first ask George and Martin if they would authorize you to do it as it may be against their EULA.

Hi Ian,
I haven't actually bought CYYZ yet, although it looks tempting, but the screenshots are very impressive and reminds me of X-Plane which I recently started with.
It looks a good addon and would be perfect for X-Plane in a 64bit environment.

@ Jude
convert to xplane is realy easy . You can do it your self. I did few tests my self with flytampa airports I bought, but offcourse I cant share that to public. How ever fly tampa can easly adopt all those scenerys in realy short period of time and make it available to xplane. They can consider expanding to one more sim. At lease I would consider such idea.

Thanks for the hints and tips, I see this is LGAV, it looks very well.
However It would be nice to have George's blessing on these sceneries.

I was simply experimenting. This work will never be shared, its for my use only. Also point was to show that it is relativly easy to convert and I would be thriled if Fly tampa considers to try to go towards xplane. It will be good bussines as well, and also easier and faster for them to create new sceneries. Its all about market and expanding...
