Will you make A FS9 version for Toronto?

Post by Velocity » Fri Feb 13, 2015 1:46 pm

Hello flytampa,

Again many users are asking if you are going to release a FS9 version?

Even the FS9 is old, your sceneries look fantastic in it.

I have Montreal, Athens,Boston, Dubai X, Hong Kong, Buffalo, Tampa rebooted ect and all look great and I`m very happy!

So after overriding the FS9 users with Copenhaven, how are the chance with Toronto.

It is a nice destination for USA, and Montreal for those who like short hops.

Thank you for answering!

That is the most hilarious joke I've heard since I left my ex-girlfriend.

Well I guess it's more money saved for avgas for me; since flying my Archer is much more rewarding than flying the Sim. Buying a new rig and the necessary apps for a new airport or two just ain't worth it yet. Hopefully, you guys will reconsider; it may be worth the extra labor required, but more than likely you have already done the cost analysis projection. If not perhaps a survey or pre-order option / deposit might provide insight to the potential revenue that could be generated from a stripped down FS9 version.

Anyway for me the avgas, insurance and hanger fee's aren't getting any cheaper, so my sim flying will never be a higher priority than the real stuff. No doubt I am in the minority, I sure wish I had unlimited funds. Lol

Wishing you the best of luck with another outstanding product. (Awesome screen shots)

That's why you should invest in your CFI. Then you'll be able to do both like me :D

@fakeflyer737 - (quite an apt username you have) Grow up... Seriously.

To those at FlyTampa who decided to not make FS2004 sceneries, I bid you all a good day.
You just lost that many more customers. I had higher faith in you all. :-(

FS9 is dying quickly with commerical developers. All the top dogs out there haven't developed an FS9 product for quite awhile now. Why can that not be accepted? Besides, what is wrong with the CYYZ2007 scenery? I used it all the time for FS9 and to a far lesser degree FSX before i too finally jumped ship to P3D...especially with AES it worked really well....

Apparently the "lost customers" do not outweigh the amount of revenue they would gain minus the cost of developing the scenery for FS9. Martin and George don't just make these sceneries for fun and to please everyone. They make these sceneries for a living. If FS9 sceneries aren't paying their bills, then why should they make them? Instead of being mad at them, be mad at all of your fellow FS9 simmers who jumped ship to FSX/P3D and depleted the FS9 market. Frankly, you should consider yourself lucky that they stuck with FS9 as long as they did. Many other developers gave up on it a long time ago.
