Re: Update & Sydney YSSY
Hi George,
Flew into Sydney a week or two ago it appears Gate 50 at T1 is getting a jetway. This is the best shot I could get for you im sorry thought it might be some interest to you though.

How much do you think can they achive in two weeks time, with a fair bit of holiday thrown in for fun? Give them a rest, it'll be ready soon enough.

Please flytampa, give a clear statement about FS9 version.
I am still mad about no FS9 version of Kopenhaven.

Same goes for me, very disappointed about there being no CPH for FS9.Velocity wrote:Please flytampa, give a clear statement about FS9 version.

However, Sydney is far more important to me, as it's my most-flown airport in FS. I am hopeful that FT will come to the party on this one, as I'm sure they'll get buyers from all different platforms.
A payware version of YSSY for FSX is already available, it looks quite good, therefore that may equate to lost sales on the FSX version. Might be better to fill that gap by making for FS9 as well, just to boost sales.

Purchased this scenery for FS9.
A major disappointment. Very poor quality, below freeware standards. Do not recommend.
I used to have it & its pretty awful. Looks below par & frames as to low to be flyable.
Upgrade to FSX. FS9 is dead

FS9 is long gone FSX and P3D is where most sales will be as only a handful of simmers still use FS9. Better off Not including FS9 so us FSX and P3d users get it Quicker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fly Tampa Don't waste your time on FS9 its gone retro at the museum

Re: Update & Sydney YSSY
Jason74, I respect your views that FS9 may be a waste of time, but 30% of Microsoft sim enthusiasts still use it, but you shouldn't go around telling FlyTampa to 'stop producing for FS9', just because you want to 'get it faster'.
You're being very narrow if you believe there 'ain't room in this town' for more than just FSX and P3D.
Basically, it doesn't affect you if FT produce for FS9 or not, but it makes thousands more users of FS9 extremely happy and far likely to continue their loyalty to the producer.

Well said Sam!
Nice to see a sensible and polite post on these forums - very rare nowadays. I will be very happy if Sydney comes out for the FS9 platform as it is my hometown airport. I have no intention of upgrading to FSX in the foreseeable future (it is still sitting in its box after I uninstalled it several years ago). I agree it is a matter of choice, and the reasons are not obvious to certain people. Live and let live!
