Stops Loading Terrain Data at 6% FSX & P3D

Post by wardp » Wed Nov 05, 2014 2:38 pm

I have just installed Copenhagen for both FSX and P3D however when loading both programs stop loading during the Terrain Data at 6% I have uninstalled both versions of EKCH rebooted. FSX and P3d both started normally as they did before the EKCH installation. I tried installing the FSX version again but again the loading of FSX stalls at 6% no matter which airport I try to start my flight from. Any ideas?

Regards
Phil

Edit: If I leave both the Fly Tampa Libraries and the Copenhagen_LC active then FSX loads OK but as soon as I make Copenhagen active then FSX hangs at 6% loading Terrain Data.

There might be smth wrong/incomplete installation of terrain data contained in the .DAT file.

Can you please check the size of your FlyTampa_Copenhagen_FSX_P3D.dat file?
it should be 1,220,077KB.

You could always try un-installing Copenhagen completely.
Then, re-download the .DAT file from here:
http://www.flytampa.org/dwl/FlyTampa_Co ... SX_P3D.dat

Make sure the .DAT file is located in the same folder as the FlyTampa_Copenhagen_FSX_P3D_10.exe, and re-do the installation (run as administrator).

Thanks for the info, my DAT file is the correct size however I have re downloaded the file from your link and re-installed using the new DAT file . Guess what it all seems to be OK now only a short pause loading the Terrain Data at 6%. Don't you just love computers!

Thanks
Phil

Within the Scenery Library, deactivate or remove "FlyTampa-Copenhagen_LC" leaving the other entry intact. See if it loads afterwards. This is just a test to determine where the problem maybe.
