The airport looks great and performs great using DX9 and 2048 textures. It isn't perfect and not the best FlyTampa release, but I'm sure that it will improve.

At dusk, I have some flashing and flickering 3d lighting, flickering tarmac lighting (needs immediate attention) and some flickering Terminals.

Thanks.

I'm positive! I have every FlyTampa Scenery and I've never seen shimmers or flickering scenery.

The white area shimmers poorly.

Regarding the 'shimmering' of white light splashes at the apron. Does this happen continuously, or at some specific altitude?

I experience the same, if you are close by it does almost not happen, if you look from a distance it is horrible :s

It's probably related to your zoom level.
0.8 and above might create some flickering issues-can be adjusted though if I know the level you are using

The shimmering lights are from a distance. I have the same shimmering at LGTS.

The white texture flickering occurs above the airport and from a distance above. It very annoying!

I'd really appreciate it if you also check into the flashing city lights. Thx

I think my zoom level is .50

I doubt that changing my zoom level will fix these flickering textures.

It will effect them. FSX's LODs uses a on-screen pixel count rather than distance-to-object. Its very annoying for us too.

I can try a different zoom settings, but all my Fly Tampa sceneries work fine with my current zoom level.

I can only deduce that it's the airport.

Please try the attached .BGL file (viewtopic.php?f=28&t=6946)
let me know if the apron light 'splashes' look better.
I have tried with zoom levels up to 2.00, no flickers at any altitude.

Drop into:
Addon Scenery\Fltytampa-Copenhagen\scenery\

Replace when asked.

(if not asked to replace, you are likely to have switched off 'Apron light effects' from scenery configurator. Please activate and try again.)

Thank you Emil.

The main Terminals light 'splashes' are no longer flickering.

I only see some flickering white textures in the DHL terminal light 'splashes'.

OK, good.
Just wanted to see if this setup worked, will now 'clone' over to all areas and re-upload.

3D city light shimmering should be fixed soon too.
