- To install into Prepar3D V2, a new full Installer is required. To get this, send us an email with your name (as purchased), requesting a new full Installer, or login your Simmarket account and look for the new Vienna file.

Hallo,

Many many thanks for the update - but I noticed a little error on TL40 - on the new update it continues all the way until abeam F04/H41 - but in reality TL40 ends abeam H47.

See on this real world layout plan - please click on the images for fullscale
Image

And another thing - would be great if you could correct that. South of "Skylink" the parking position markings (the placement of the lines) are incorrect. They are at the wrong place - sometimes too close together. And there are some lines which should be dashed but are solid.

If you compare this screenshot:

And on this real world airport layout you can see what I mean:

I've also created a layover:

It is a problem when controlling online - such as on IVAO and VATSIM - because it is difficult to assign parking positions to heavy aircraft types. If you place one heavy wrong, it "screws up" the rest of the terminal because of the wingspan of the heavy.

Many many thanks again for the update - I just hope that you are going to correct the parking positions, because they are a very important part of the airport.

Hi Martin.
Just for information: is the offered file for FSX a new full installer, or is the file intented to be installed over an installed v2 version.

Dear FlyTampa Team,

thank you for this update - was really surprised and delighted, when I discovered this update. Really nice, that you always put Vienna to your actual stand of scenery design technique.

However, I found some errors with the update: First of all, it would be really great, if you can fix the points stated by trainler, especially the placement of the gate lines on the south side of the Skylink ("Check in 3").

I hope not to be rude or disrespectful, when I post some further errors, which were discovered after the update (some of them were also there before the update):
  • Can't select H41 as gate in the FS Menu
  • DME is not reading 0 when touching down (offset of about 2 nm) See here & here
  • The outermarker of all runways are still here - in real, they all have been removed in the last years
  • The Runway lights are not visible during daylight, which is very critical during low visibility (maybe you can add the "Alternative Runway Lighting" box during the installing process like on the TNCM installer) - see screenshot below:
    Image
  • The new 3D light effects (floodlight.fx) + the tower strobe is visible through the fog - see screenshot below:
    Image
  • Orange & Blue Lines are too close together - it is impossible to taxi on both simultaneously on both lines with A320/B737 aircraft, which is possible in real. I've made an overlay with a real aerial image and a FSX aerial image. The orange/blue lines are visible in both aerial images and are the ones of the scenery - see screenshot (.gif) below:
    Image
Please don't see this post as an offense, but it would be really really nice, if these points can be fixed.

Thank you again for this update!!! :)

Don't you think this is a bit anal dude? I couldn't care less about a few lines as this was a grade A airport updated for free. Besides, your image is too large which is why the lines look wider a part.

This report may be "anal", how you call it, in your eyes. The others and me want to help with posting things like this, don't know what you want to do with your post!
