True, but not always with good fps.

For example, LGIR has very poor performance with a realistic mesh (eg FS Global).

Very good :) EKCH is needed as there is not a very qualitative scenery at the moment :)

I hope we will still see a FS9 version :)

By the way please keep the quality/hardware needed/frames on the level of Montreal. Montreal is running very smooth at my FS9 PC not like Dubai with the known terminal problem :(

Keep us informed and thanks :)

I am really hoping for a proper FS9 version too. Originally I always thought that the FSDG version of EKCH was going to be released as an Aerosoft Mega Airport (for both FS9 & FSX). Nice to see that the development is still on track and I love the new screenshots! Amazing :o

I'm very glad to see you all working together. I've been a huge fan of Fly Tampa for years and years, and FSDG & 29 Palms has done fantastic work as well.

Only concern is the FS9 part, I know Fly Tampa has been devoted in that sense over the years and I appriciete that, I hope you can share teqnichues that make a version to FS9 not as big of pain in the ***, Copenhagen has been something I've been waiting for a good version of since I started with flightsim in 1998.

Living in Stockholm, Copenhagen has a big space in my heart.

why should I change from a ten year old sim to an eight year old sim when todays hardware can't handle it? lol

Todays hardware is a bit better than the one your mother bought you from the Staples bargain basement.

FSX can be maxed out now. PMDG NGX, Quality scenery, HD clouds, Smooooooth, Bliss....

Maybe correct...but did you asked yourself how much does such a PC coast? Maybe around 2000-3000$. And not everyone is having this money.

But now we should stop discussing this here as it is an endless discussion and the subject here is EKCH and not FSX vs. FS9

Stop annoying us again with the annoying and boring KSEA topic. It doesn't matter how many topics you will start...nothing will change...

By the way I just wrote about going back to topic...and let's guess who is starting again a useless hijacking on this thread :(

Grow up little kid!

29 Palms won't let us down. Their scenery is amazing. And I can guarantee that it will be FSX only.

This is great news!
I am wishing FlyTampa, FSDG and 29Palms all the very best for their first co-production so to speak!
Looking very much forward to EKCH's release!
Cheers, Christoph

The video you show, which I made, was far from being maxed out. To reply to others why change from a 10 year old sim to a 8 year old sim ... todays hardware isn't 2000 - 3000 dollars. You can go as crazy as you want but for way less you can buy a decent system that runs FSX smooth enough as long as you overclock and not put all them sliders to the right, it aint Battlefield 3 which you are trying to handle ...

To get back on topic ... I think it's a good thing that developers team up and share experience ... this will most likely look great!
