Hello, folks: I guess others have talked about this, and I apologize if it's been addressed already, but two cents, if I may, George & Martin, please - is we have a whole lot of growth in the use of DX10 thanks to Steve Parsons' work in continuing the development of the DX10 Shaders code. The Avsim forum is growing in leaps and bounds, and is now making headway in other forums, too.
FSDreamteam builds compatible airports: SimAddons builds compatible airports: almost all of the Orbx world is compatible, (some devs even mentioning this). A couple of your airports are compatible, too, but why oh why would you not cater to this growing market of simflyers, who fly commercial jets, with a compatible CYUL Montreal? Halifax and the east coast is there. FSDT has completed a beautiful CYVR Vancouver, and we were so very much looking forward to a masterpiece Montreal to fill out Canada for us DX10'ers. Could I assume you might consider this in a possible update, please?
Many Thanks & All the Best,
Paul J

Re: Montreal Released
I've never been a fan of DX10 Preview, its too Fisher Price looking for my eyes & we all know it was abandoned before the poor guy (Phil Taylor) had opportunity to complete it.
Has anything been fixed for DX10 that's worth while or is it just a few clipping taxiways & default scenery problems?
I'd be happy to support DX10 if it now worked. But the ways to make it work (for us) are not viable.
A Montreal patch for DX10 is very unlikely unless I'm missed a major breakthrough that could make ground polygons work under DX10 at night. We have to develop for FS9 too. Fs9 demand outnumbers DX10 by about 10,000 to 1.
P3D is perhaps a better option if you are using DX10 for a few fps.I just hope the P3D guys get it together & actually patch the mess Microsoft made, so we don't have customers spread out over all these varying unreliable versions of FS.

Its done. I've just been away a few days taking care of house work, computer upgrades etc.
It should be available this later week.
